About The Position

You inspire and reach people with just a few words. Our GSW Santa Monica team is looking for a Group Copy Supervisor with strong conceptual thinking and a proven ability to bring ideas to life. This role requires someone who can balance creativity with strategic thinking and deliver high-quality work that meets client objectives. LA candidates will be expected to come in the office 2 days a week.

Requirements

• 5-7 years' experience at pharma advertising agency
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual ability and creative problem-solving
• Experience developing work for both patient and HCP audiences
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in advertising, communications, or journalism, and/or coursework related to pharmaceutical advertising or life sciences

Nice To Haves

• Client-facing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create novel and original work in a variety of mediums-print, digital and beyond
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional team
• Writing long form copy, establishing and managing the brand tone, claims, and overall copy consistency
• Responsible for guiding and developing the product/service/brand information that bolsters the creative group's conceptual ideas and creative executions
• Understanding and implementing direction: Can understand creative direction based on objectives and executes creative work effectively
• Communicates workload appropriately based on skill sets and talents; communicates well with others on workload issues & needs, the progress of work and results
