About The Position

The Group Compliance Manager at Microsoft will lead a team responsible for ensuring that suppliers adhere to the company's privacy, security, and Responsible AI standards. This role emphasizes building trust and shared values with suppliers while maintaining compliance with regulatory obligations and data protection expectations. The manager will engage with senior supplier leaders, drive compliance initiatives, and enhance operational processes to support the company's mission of empowering every person and organization on the planet.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field AND 6+ years experience in finance or financial compliance OR equivalent experience.
  • Security Professional (CISSP) certification OR an IAPP Privacy Professional certification OR AICPA qualified auditor is required.
  • Experience in privacy and/or security related roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in finance or related field AND 8+ years experience in finance or financial compliance OR equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years experience in finance or financial compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold program integrity and standards, ensuring privacy and security principles are applied across various scenarios.
  • Lead the team to deliver on Corporate control compliance, balancing business expediency with compliance outcomes.
  • Maintain ongoing green audit reports from Internal Audit, regulatory inquiries, and customer audits.
  • Examine operating guardrails for effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
  • Analyze team deliverables to convert policy into reasonable supplier standards that can be audited.
  • Drive improvements that increase customer satisfaction without compromising compliance.
  • Build relationships across Procurement to raise supplier compliance standards.
  • Participate in streamlining the end-to-end buying process with a compliance control mindset.
