About the role HealthFitness is excited to welcome a Group Class Instructor to our fitness team at a corporate client site in Alexandria, Virginia. This is a great opportunity to share your energy and expertise in a supportive, wellness‑focused environment. This on‑call/substitute role offers flexible, as‑needed teaching opportunities, making it a perfect fit for instructors looking to supplement their schedule while making a positive impact. Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.
Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
