About the role Group Fitness Instructor - Minneapolis, MN Substitute, working on an as-needed basis HealthFitness is looking for Group Class Instructors to join the fitness team at our multi-client site located in Minneapolis, Minnesota . In this position you will provide fun, effective and safe group exercise to members participating in the program. Looking for general GX as well as specialty Instructors to sub when regular instructors are unable to teach. Substitute schedule will vary, must have the availability for morning, afternoon, and evening times. Parking will be provided at all sites. Candidate has the opportunity to increase hours by subbing for other client sites in area.
Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or BLS (in-person/blended classes only) from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
- 1+ years of experience teaching group fitness classes strongly preferred.
