About The Position

The Summer Group Camp Speaker “sets the table” for the various discussions that will take place in each church’s individual group. At the beginning of each day, the speaker introduces the theme and begins to ask the questions that will become central conversations to the day’s activities. In the evening, the speaker recaps the theme, tying it in with the content of the Bible study and with the evening experience. The speaker is tasked with building a bridge between all the day’s experiences and the important conversations that will take place within each group around the fire at night’s end.
