About The Position

This is Your Opportunity To: Assist business units by performing various assigned duties that are intended to provide experience and build sales skills for future development. Get an insider view of career potential within a high performing culture. Strengthen business acumen & develop sales skills. Develop personally and professionally with a customized intern curriculum. Build a network of peers and mentors in a business to business sales environment. Gain exposure to products and services within Group Benefits. Participate in social activities and networking events. Interview for a sales trainee position upon completion of the program.

Requirements

• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills and leadership qualities
• Motivated team player with sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to lead and influence
• Must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship
• High school diploma
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with an accredited college or university, preferably a rising senior

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly curriculum training
• Collaborate on an intern-lead Capstone Project
• Participate in customer meetings
• Learn functions and uses of technology to support the salesforce and business
• Present Capstone project to an audience of peers, managers and senior leadership
• Perform duties supporting the sales organization as assigned or required
