About The Position

The Group Benefits Broker Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for leading a dedicated team of brokers or agents who specialize in the sale and management of group benefit plans. These plans encompass essential coverage options such as health, dental, life, and disability insurance tailored for businesses and organizations. The individual in this position will oversee the activities of the broker team, ensuring that they are effectively selling and servicing group benefits products while adhering to industry regulations and compliance standards. In this role, the Group Benefits Broker Manager will develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at increasing sales and enhancing client relationships. This includes monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, as well as collaborating with marketing and product teams to create impactful sales campaigns and materials. The manager will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and addressing any client issues or concerns promptly. Additionally, the Group Benefits Broker Manager will maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters, negotiating competitive rates and coverage options for clients. Regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and client satisfaction will be essential, as will analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
