Requirements
- Active state license required
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical role preferred
- Competency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
- Authorization to work in the US is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in chemical dependency treatment preferred
- Strong interest or personal passion in substance abuse treatment strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Facilitate structured, therapeutic group sessions for assigned patients
- Apply appropriate clinical interventions and modify group content to meet patient needs
- Provide education, support, and therapeutic interaction in a group setting
- Assist with discharge planning including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, and sober housing
- Attend and participate in treatment team meetings
- Collaborate with clinical staff, case management, and nursing to support patient progress
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, team-oriented culture
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Report directly to the Clinical Director
