About The Position

Requirements

  • Active state license required
  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical role preferred
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
  • Authorization to work in the US is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in chemical dependency treatment preferred
  • Strong interest or personal passion in substance abuse treatment strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate structured, therapeutic group sessions for assigned patients
  • Apply appropriate clinical interventions and modify group content to meet patient needs
  • Provide education, support, and therapeutic interaction in a group setting
  • Assist with discharge planning including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, and sober housing
  • Attend and participate in treatment team meetings
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, case management, and nursing to support patient progress
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, team-oriented culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Report directly to the Clinical Director
