NOW HIRING A GROUNDSMAN FOR AN IMMEDIATE FULL-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY! STARTING PAY OF $23.50 PER HOUR OR MORE BASED ON EXPERIENCE! Do you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and working as part of a professional tree service crew? Arbor Bay Tree Service is urgently hiring a Groundsman to support our tree care operations. As a Groundsman, you will assist climbers, handle ropes, operate chippers, and maintain a safe, clean worksite. This is a hands-on, physical role perfect for someone who enjoys hard work, teamwork, and learning valuable skills in the tree service and landscaping industry. Requirements
- Experience in tree service, landscaping, or groundskeeping is a plus, but not required—training provided!
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions year-round.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing labor-intensive tasks.
- Strong attention to safety, communication, and teamwork.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
Responsibilities
- Assist tree climbers and crew leaders with tree removal, trimming, and pruning services.
- Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, ropes, and other tree service equipment.
- Drag, chip, and stack brush, logs, and debris from residential and commercial properties.
- Perform ground-level rigging and rope management during tree cutting operations.
- Ensure each property and job site is clean, safe, and well-maintained after completion.
