About The Position

Under supervision, perform all grounds keeping and landscaping tasks necessary to maintain the zoo grounds and animal exhibits to the standards of the Wildlife Conservation Society. General landscape maintenance of the zoo property, pruning, mowing, watering, weeding, planting and other related duties. Must be flexible rotating working at the 3 city zoos and occasionally at the New York aquarium.

Requirements

• Garden experience is required.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds or more.
• Must be willing to work in all types of inclement weather is required.
• Must know basic English for communication.
