About The Position

At Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), the Groundskeeper role is integral to creating memorable vacation experiences for Owners and guests. This position involves maintaining the pleasant appearance of property grounds, which includes landscaping, garbage removal, and sweeping. Groundskeepers are expected to visually inspect tools and equipment, manage snow and ice, clean grilling areas, and remove trash from resort grounds. They also report any safety or engineering issues. Beyond maintenance tasks, the role emphasizes guest experience, requiring professional interaction with guests and colleagues, anticipating needs, and contributing to team goals while adhering to company policies and safety procedures. Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
A valid Driver's License active for at least one year is a must.

Responsibilities

Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance which may include landscaping work, garbage removal, and/or sweeping.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
Removal of snow and maintenance of ice management (if applicable).
Cleans/maintains grills and grilling areas.
Removes trash from resort grounds.
Reports any safety or Engineering issues on the grounds.
Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
Contribute to team goals.
Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
