About The Position
The Seasonal Part-Time Groundskeeper supports the Grounds Maintenance Department in maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the Caldwell Zoo grounds. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for guests, staff, and animals.
Requirements
- Experience is a plus, but not necessary
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, weeding, raking, and trimming landscaped areas
- Perform general lawn and landscape maintenance
- Remove litter and debris throughout zoo grounds
- Clean walkways, driveways, and public areas
- Maintain and clean picnic areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
