Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid FL Driver’s License in good standing at all times.

Nice To Haves

• One year of lawncare and/or maintenance experience preferred
• Previous working knowledge utilizing general housekeeping equipment, maintenance tools, lawn equipment, pressure washer.

Responsibilities

• Utilize visual and auditory cues to ensure the safety and well-being of clients during interactions and activities.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors through verbal and written means.
• Hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone.
• Coordinate all activities so as not to interrupt client schedules.
• Work with management team and leads to maintain facility appearance.
• Follows Infection Control and safety procedures.
• Conduct and document weekly water temperature checks.
• Conduct all other monthly and annual environmental checks as directed.
• Groundskeeper checklist must be followed completely.
• Ensures general cleaning of outside areas including but not limited to sidewalks, screened areas, gazebos, carports, parking lot, and all other areas of the facility.
• Patch and paint inside and outside of the facility.
• Replace light bulbs
• Complete minor maintenance repairs to include painting, patching, minor electrical, minor plumbing etc.
• Complete Maintenance Work Orders as assigned through Maintainx
• Walk facility inside and out daily to inspect for repairs.
• Completes grounds work as directed such as trimming back bushes, weeding, assisting with planting, and ensuring the facility looks manicured.
• Report all incidents of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the Abuse Hotline (1-800-96-ABUSE).
• Follow all emergency procedures during a drill or in an actual emergency.
• Report to work during inclement weather to ensure adequate supervision and care of all individuals in the home. This may include sheltering in place during a hurricane.
• Attending all required training and monthly staff meetings.
• Follow all Quest policies and procedures.
• Employees are required to report serious issues to the employee hotline or to a Quest leader under the See Something Say Something policy.
• Management reserves the right to revise the job or to request that other or different tasks be performed as assigned.
