Groundskeeper
About The Position
Lake Hope Dining Lodge & Cabins is seeking candidates with an eye for detail to join our team as a Lodge Grounds Crew member. As a Lodge Grounds Crew member, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of the lodge grounds, including mowing, landscaping, gardening, and general maintenance tasks. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure a beautiful and inviting environment for our guests. Rate of pay is $12.00/hour. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees by weeding and watering as needed. Ensure that all outdoor areas, including parking lots and walkways, are clean and free of debris. Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment, such as push lawnmowers, trimmers, power washers and leaf blowers. Check plants inside and outside, water both inside and outside when needed. Trim bushes and trees if needed Clean fire ring or pit area by cabins Clean grills Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Assist with special events and projects on the lodge grounds, as needed. Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines. Qualifications: 18 or older Posses a Valid driver's license General experience of various mowers and other grounds equipment Physical stamina and strength to perform outdoor tasks for extended periods of time. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.
