About The Position

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall upkeep of the landscape and the interior / exterior image of the community. This role is customer service driven and requires a team player. Key duties include maintaining a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment, keeping the property litter free, assisting with unit trash outs, delivering notices, and reporting time and attendance. The Groundskeeper conducts daily inspections of the community and adheres to Landmark Properties policies and procedures. In terms of customer service, the individual is expected to understand and exceed resident expectations, foster a sense of community among residents and staff, maintain a positive community environment, and encourage participation in events. The role also involves assisting with property turn. For risk control, the Groundskeeper must understand, communicate, and enforce community safety, emergency, and fire evacuation policies, provide emergency response and referral services, document and report resident behaviors that violate the law or lease agreement to the Community Manager, and inspect the physical condition of the property, reporting any problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
