About The Position

PORT MADISON ENTERPRISES WHITE HORSE GOLF CLUB Facilities- Groundskeeper General Position Summary: Performs maintenance duties involving the use of certain golf course related equipment to include golf carts, triplex, bunker rake and hand held maintenance equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Manual and finger dexterity for the operation of hand and power tools
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to lift 75 lbs
• Working conditions include working outside, and in inclement weather condition for long periods of time
• Climbing (use of ladders both inside and outside), lifting, bending, stooping and crawling into difficult workspaces
• Other conditions include working alone, frequent interruptions, evenings and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Mows greens, tees, rake bunkers, use of hand held trimmers and backpack blower to blow debris on all playable areas
• Performs basic preventative maintenance on equipment as directed
• Ensures equipment’s cooling systems are working at all times
• Refills fuel and oil daily
• Cleans equipment daily
• Reports equipment problems and failures to Facilities management on a daily basis
• May operate smaller equipment as directed by management
• Performs other duties as assigned during shift
