Groundskeeper – JLL What this job involves: As a Groundskeeper with JLL, you'll be the steward of exceptional outdoor environments that create lasting first impressions and enhance property value for our clients. This hands-on role combines horticultural expertise with practical maintenance skills to transform and maintain beautiful, functional landscapes. You'll work collaboratively with property management teams to bring their vision to life while ensuring outdoor spaces remain safe, attractive, and welcoming year-round. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education
Physical ability to perform outdoor manual labor in various weather conditions
Basic knowledge of plant care, lawn maintenance, and landscape equipment operation
Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work at multiple property locations
Willingness to perform additional maintenance duties during inclement weather

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair
Familiarity with pesticide application and proper chemical handling procedures
Basic understanding of seasonal plant care and horticultural best practices
Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment and power tools
Ability to read landscape plans and coordinate with contractors for specialty projects

Responsibilities

Maintain pristine lawns through regular mowing, edging, and turf care across assigned properties
Care for gardens and landscaped areas including planting, fertilizing, weeding, mulching, and pest control applications
Trim and shape hedges, shrubs, and ornamental plants to maintain aesthetic appeal and plant health
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hand tools
Prepare outdoor areas for seasonal weather changes through weatherproofing, covering furniture, and securing loose items
Coordinate specialty services such as ground leveling, hardscape installation, and major landscape projects
Order supplies and equipment while managing inventory and ensuring cost-effective operations
