Part-Time Groundskeeper at Dville Village and Riverview Apartments
About The Position

Dville Village and Riverview Apartments in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, is looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week. As a Groundskeeper, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our properties are clean, safe, and inviting. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the grounds by picking up trash, cleaning hallways, assisting with trash-outs of vacated units, and even snow removal when needed. Make sure the grounds are free of trash. Clean and sweep up trash and handle or assist with trash-outs of units.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Less than one year of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions and communicate effectively in small groups.
- Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve routine problems.
- Beginner computer skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions, simple correspondence and present information one-on-one or in small groups.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide by 10s & 100s
- Ability to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions with common sense understanding. Ability to deal with problems that involve few variables in standardized situations.
- Beginner computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Pick up trash on the grounds and keep the area tidy.
- Clean out hallways to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Assist with snow removal to maintain safety during winter months.
- Handle trash-outs of vacated units, which may include removing debris, furniture, and appliances, as well as performing minor repairs and painting.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Property Management team.
