About The Position

The Gables is looking for a Groundskeeper to help keep our property looking great! This is a wonderful opportunity if you enjoy working outdoors and want to be part of a fun, hardworking team.

Requirements

At least 1 year of groundskeeping or related experience preferred.
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
Ability to operate a golf cart.
Valid driver’s license.
Must pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, including driveways, parking lots, walkways, breezeways, pool areas, and trash collection zones.
Perform routine tasks such as litter removal, pressure washing, blowing debris, changing lightbulbs, and snow removal.
Assist the maintenance team with service requests and light repairs.
Communicate clearly and courteously with residents and team members.
Use computers and mobile devices to access email and company software.
Report any unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns promptly.
Manage and care for tools, equipment, and supplies.
