As a Groundskeeper at Cameron Run, you will play a dual role in maintaining the property’s exterior. This role is essential to creating strong first impressions, supporting resident satisfaction, and upholding Axia’s commitment to quality and professionalism. You will work closely with the maintenance and office teams to maintain curb appeal, assist with make-readies (punch lists), contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across the property, and perform other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including parking lots, sidewalks, breezeways, mail areas, and common spaces
  • Remove trash, debris, and pet waste daily from all public and recreational areas
  • Maintain trash enclosures and report overflow or damage
  • Power wash sidewalks and breezeways as needed
  • Assist with light cleaning of interior corridors, entryways, and shared facilities
  • Care for property landscaping by watering, trimming, and maintaining grass, flower beds, and shrubbery
  • Operate blowers, mowers, trimmers, and other landscape equipment safely and responsibly
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of outdoor amenities such as pools, firepits, grilling areas, and pet parks
  • Support seasonal responsibilities including ice/snow removal and weather preparation
  • Prior experience in groundskeeping or general maintenance, preferably in multifamily housing or commercial properties
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to property cleanliness and safety
  • Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance procedures is a plus
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Prior experience in landscaping, janitorial, or apartment punch work preferred
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and materials (e.g., paint, caulk, hand tools)
  • Ability to safely operate landscaping and light maintenance equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and with a team
  • Pool maintenance experience or certification is a bonus
