WE LOVE OUR WORK. Operates and maintains power equipment and vehicles in a safe manner to include pickup trucks, street sweepers, fork lift, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, leaf blowers, power washer etc. Picks up trash and empty trash receptacles around property, including parking garage. Assists with site trash disposal and recycling programs, including maintenance of trash disposal areas Becomes an essential member of the casino snow removal team. Must be available for ice and snow removal activities. Assist tasks related to roads or outside areas of the casino as needed such as installing signage, power washing exterior of buildings, parking garage walls and floors, entrances, etc. Places stone and rocks in drainage areas and set up stone landscape areas, as necessary. Removes dead trees and limbs, clears brush and debris, as necessary. Assists the maintenance team inside the buildings with repairs and maintenance to the casino, as necessary. Assists with other activities or staff maintenance duties as directed by the management team.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules.
- Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests.
- Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
- Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Walking 70% of the time.
- Sitting 10% of the time.
- Standing 10% of the time.
- Climbing up heights in excess of 35 feet.
- Lifting/moving maximum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to see 20/20, color, and/or peripherally.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Work with toxic fumes and/or chemicals.
- Risk of electrical shock.
- High Noise Level.
