Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Possess proven experience in landscaping, outdoor maintenance, or a related field.
Expertise in landscaping techniques, plant care, and pest control methods.
Physical aptitude is crucial for performing outdoor tasks, including lifting, bending, and operating landscaping equipment.
An attention to detail and strong work ethic are essential for maintaining the property's appearance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, follow directions and priorities, and communicate effectively with team members to report issues is imperative.
Knowledge of safety regulations and outdoor maintenance best practices
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Outdoor Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of common areas, sidewalks, parking lots, and walkways by regularly removing litter and debris.
Ensure proper disposal of trash and recycling materials in designated areas.
Assist the maintenance team with apartment make ready tasks including lock changes and fixture replacements.
Assist the maintenance team with pool maintenance.
Irrigation and Watering: Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and conservation of water resources.
Report any irrigation issues or leaks to the property management team.
Pest Control and Weed Management: Identify and address pest and weed issues, applying appropriate treatments to prevent infestations and maintain a pest-free environment.
Equipment and Tools: Properly operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the maintenance team.
Seasonal Tasks: Perform seasonal landscaping tasks, such as leaf removal in the fall and snow removal in the winter.
Assist with the setup and takedown of seasonal decorations and displays.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, using appropriate personal protective equipment and following property and landscaping regulations.
Inform appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation for residents, team members, guests and others.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with property management, maintenance staff, and other team members to coordinate property upkeep and maintenance efforts.
