As an Atlantic Shores Groundskeeper, you will work together as a team to make sure that our residents have a beautifully landscaped campus that they call home. Hours: 7am-4pm, Monday – Friday. Position Summary: The Groundskeeper position, in accordance with established policies and procedures, is responsible for the upkeep of the community landscape including lawn, gardens, roadways, and nature trails. Requirements

Less than high school education; six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to maintain professional communication and work with a diverse team.
Organization and time-management skills.
Must have reliable transportation to work and be punctual.
Positive attitude and teamwork.
Must have the ability to work in various weather conditions and fulfill physical job duties.

Nice To Haves

Background in grounds and landscaping, minor carpentry, painting, and mechanical skills preferred.
Experience on snowplows also preferred.
Willing to train the right person with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Works as a team to accomplish daily goals, and project completion.
Performs lawn mowing, trimming, and edging on a seasonal basis.
Performs maintenance-based landscaping such as trimming bushes, spreading mulch, removing plants, planting, and edging.
Maintains a clean and organized job site at all times.
Adheres to safety procedures and maintains equipment accordingly.
