About The Position

The Groundskeeper maintains the appearance of the hospital and facility grounds through duties such as mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing our lawns and gardens. This position ensures the grounds represent the hospital’s standard of excellence and demonstrates a strong teamwork mentality with other facility teams. The groundskeeper is required to work outdoors year-round and in inclement weather.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of basic lawn care experience required
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience in commercial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and completes assigned groundskeeper tasks including mowing, trimming, weeding, applying chemicals and fertilizer, seeding, and installing/repairing irrigation with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Inspects grounds for trash and debris and takes appropriate actions to ensure our beautification standards are met. Occasional manual removal of snow and ice from walkways and driveways.
• Performs routine operator maintenance on grounds-keeping equipment to ensure it is operational, clean, and stored appropriately after use.
• Other duties as assigned.
