About The Position

Performs work associated with the upkeep and appearance of outdoor environments including mowing and landscaping at various properties across the healthcare system. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Use various hand tools and gas-powered tools to mow and maintain grass, rake leaves, trim bushes and trees, plant flowers and shrubbery, remove dead plants, water and fertilize vegetation and prepare grounds for seasonal changes. Maintain driveways, walkways and parking lots by removing snow and ice. Ensure tools are maintained properly. Perform maintenance tasks including painting and repairs on fences and outbuildings. Provide support to the facilities team as directed. Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values. Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public. Self-direction and the ability to follow directions. Ability to lift/move heavy objects. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: With or without accommodation. Heavy Work: Occasionally exerting up to 100 lbs - constantly exerting up to 20 lbs. 51-75% of the day may be standing or walking. Requirements
