About The Position
Summary: We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Full-Time Groundskeeper to join our team. This position works under limited supervision to ensure our grounds and facilities remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Mow and maintain lawn areas using appropriate equipment. Perform landscape upkeep including trimming, edging, weed control, and mulching of landscaped areas. Manage tree growth, brush clearing, and general vegetation control as needed. Perform seasonal property clean-up including removal of leaves, debris, and storm damage. Maintain fence lines and perform minor fence repairs when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented appearance of the property grounds at all times. Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment including zero-turn mowers, tractor, string trimmers, chainsaws, and other hand tools. Perform routine equipment maintenance including greasing, oil checks, blade changes, and general care of tools and machinery. Ensure tools and equipment are stored properly and kept in good working condition. Assist with general property upkeep including minor repairs to gates, fencing, and outbuildings. Support small improvement or maintenance projects around the property as needed. Assist with seasonal or weather-related tasks such as snow removal when necessary. Assist Maintenance staff with projects as needed.
Requirements
- Prior groundskeeping maintenance knowledge and experience.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and provide an MVR annually.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
- Prior experience towing equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
- Availability for emergency situations at the property, including snow removal.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
