About The Position
The Groundskeeper (Public Works) performs routine landscaping and maintenance tasks within public works facilities to ensure clean, safe, and functional outdoor spaces. This positions the ability to obtain a visitor's pass and work on post at Camp Merrill.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, edge, and maintain turf areas and public spaces.
- Perform basic landscaping, planting, and irrigation repairs.
- Assist with minor repairs to grounds-related infrastructure.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
- Follow safety and environmental standards in daily work.
