This role ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained and standards are met regarding the grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal, while also providing support to the service team members. The Groundskeeper is responsible for daily inspections of the community to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, ensuring all common areas and amenities remain neat. Key duties include removing trash from vacant apartments before the make-ready process, transferring trash to designated areas, and maintaining storage areas. The position also involves completing minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager, assisting the make-ready specialist, changing locks according to property policy, and ensuring pool area gates meet safety standards. Additionally, the Groundskeeper distributes notices to residents, reports hazards, demonstrates strong customer service, and complies with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies, including attending safety meetings and reporting incidents.
