Summary:

Maintain, clean and care for Hospital grounds, plants, lawns, gardens, trees, roofs, walks, driveways and parking areas.

Requirements

• High school graduate some experience grounds care.

Responsibilities

• Inspects site daily; keeps walk areas swept clean and free of debris. Schedules maintenance to maintain and upgrade site appearance. Coordinates refuse removal. Cleans roof drains monthly.
• Maintains plants, including pruning and trimming. Lawn maintenance. Cuts and trims lawns. Lawn maintenance. Performs seasonal work in a timely manner.
• Removes snow and spreads salt. Snow removal. Coordinates the operation of all snow removal services. Snow removal. Coordinates maintenance staff for twenty-four hour coverage.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
