Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
• Previous experience with lawn maintenance and landscaping preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate lawnmowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of basic gardening and plant care techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lawn Maintenance: Mow grass, trim edges, and ensure that all lawns are maintained to a neat and professional standard.
• Operate lawnmowers, weed whackers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Ensure grass areas are free of debris, clippings, and other hazards.
• Landscaping & Groundskeeping: Maintain garden beds, flowerpots, shrubs, and trees by pruning, weeding, and planting as necessary.
• Water plants and ensure their proper care throughout the season.
• Mulch and fertilize garden areas when required.
• General Grounds Care: Keep paths, walkways, and camp areas free of debris and clutter.
• Maintain camp outdoor facilities, ensuring areas like picnic tables, benches, and playgrounds are clean and inviting.
• Help with the setup and takedown of the outdoor structures or decorations for special camp events or activities.
