About The Position

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining all common areas and the grounds of each community in clean condition at all times. This role includes performing minor landscaping duties that are not covered by the landscaping contractor. The Groundskeeper will provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors, ensuring that the community is well-kept and welcoming.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors.
  • Cleaning and monitoring trash receptacle locations on property.
  • Cleaning all amenity areas including the clubhouse, model apartment, pool, sport courts, and restrooms.
  • Clearing and removing debris from community grounds, breezeways, and amenity areas.
  • Completing and assisting with minor work orders as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Delivering resident correspondence and packages to units as requested.
  • Meeting with Maintenance Supervisor daily to review work orders and assignments.
  • Keeping a record of hours utilizing company provided forms/software.
  • Inspecting and picking up debris and pet waste in all areas daily.
  • Maintaining grounds free of debris as per schedule.
  • Maintaining trash receptacles to be clean and clear.
  • Performing pressure washing of common areas, walks, and buildings.
  • Performing custodial cleaning in interior common areas and units.
  • Completing minor work orders as directed.
  • Enforcing trash standards on property.
  • Logging and maintaining pool chemicals daily.
  • Maintaining MSDS/OSHA/EPA logs in shop and office.
  • Informing Maintenance Supervisor of supplies needed.
  • Providing coverage of common areas on weekends and Saturday afternoon cleans.
  • Reviewing Preventative Maintenance Calendar on a monthly basis.
  • Attending a monthly safety meeting.
  • Ensuring proper equipment is kept in inventory.
  • Working with vendors during move-in/move-out processes.
  • Completing unit punch at the direction of Maintenance Supervisor.
