About The Position

We are looking for aGroundskeeper/ Landscaper to work full time in Concord, CA responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic quality of outdoor grounds in landscaped areas. This role includes lawn care, planting, irrigation maintenance, and general upkeep of outdoor facilities Founded in 1990, Common Interest Management Services is a full-service homeowners' association management (HOA) company, and subsidiary of Associa, serving over 400 associations and more than 40,000 homes in the Bay Area. Our associations are single-family homes, condominiums and townhomes ranging in size from 25 units to more than 1400 units each. Requirements

experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or horticulture preferred
knowledge of plant care, turf management, and the irrigation systems
ability to operate and perform minor maintenance on landscaping equipment
physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor
strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, attractive grounds
ability to follow instructions and work independently or that's part of the team

Responsibilities

perform routine lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, trimming, air rating, fertilizing, and watering
plants, prone, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation
maintain irrigation systems: adjust timers, monitor water flow, detect leaks, and perform miter repairs
remove weeds, debris, litter, fallen branches, and other hazards from grounds
operate and maintain landscaping equipment [mowers, blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, etc.] apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers following safety guidelines
maintain walkways, paths, parking lots, and outdoor structures by sweeping, cleaning and minor repairs
assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, deicing, or preparing grounds for seasonal changes
monitor plant health and report any issues related to past, diseases, or irrigation and
ensure all work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized
other duties as assigned
