About The Position

The Groundskeeper at Winterwood, Inc. is responsible for maintaining the attractiveness and health of the community grounds. This full-time position requires a self-motivated individual who can work outdoors and ensure the property is orderly and well-kept. The role involves daily inspections, maintenance tasks, and customer service, contributing to the overall mission of the company to prioritize its people.

Requirements

• Groundskeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors.
• Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
• Performs daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
• Assists with maintenance work orders.
• Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning, and painting.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
