Groundskeeper II
About The Position
Oaks of Louisiana is seeking an energetic grounds gardener with experience in landscaping and lawn care. The individual must be interested in being part of a dynamic team that cares for a profoundly beautiful and expanding retirement community consisting of the finest local independent and assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities around. The individual must be knowledgeable and experienced in using and maintaining lawn care equipment which includes tractor, mowers, weed eater, edger, blower, and chainsaw. The candidate must be able to work alone as directed and as part of a team to perform necessary grooming around the campus grounds. The individual selected for this position will be required to attend a Willis-Knighton Health System orientation, as well as a more departmental focused orientation.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Two (2) years campus and grounds care experience
Responsibilities
- Grooming around the campus grounds
- Using and maintaining lawn care equipment
