About The Position
The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Assistant to assist the grounds supervisor in providing technical knowledge and skills in planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance of grounds. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. The role requires a valid driver's license and insurability as defined in UTS 157. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, but flexibility for evenings and weekends is required. The earliest start date is as soon as possible, and the salary is $28,860, commensurate with experience.
