About The Position

General campus grounds cleaning & maintenance; Snow removal and sanding of sidewalks and streets. Fertilizing, mowing, weed eating, watering, maintaining sprinkler systems, turf maintenance, pruning, planting, weeding, aerating, power raking, blowing out sprinkler systems and trash removal. Keeping all equipment in good running condition for each season. Moving, office furniture, and equipment. Graduation set up, yearly plant-in for campus. Assist in directing the work of student assistants.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of equipment, tools, and procedures of grounds construction and care
  • Knowledge of operating grounds maintenance and grounds construction equipment and tools
  • One year or more gardening and groundskeeping duties.
  • Experience maintaining large grounds.
