About The Position

You will maintain the appearance of the grounds of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma properties. You will report to the Landscaping Supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid State Issued Driver's License
• Read and follow written or oral directions for tasks.
• Understand government public health regulations.
• Understand safety standards related to performance of the job.
• Stoop, bending, kneeling, and reaching daily and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of lawn equipment such as: lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, edgers, blowers.
• Pick up trash and other routine tasks to maintain the grounds.
• Care for established lawns and landscaping by mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, and planting.
• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, and hedge trimmers.
• Tree, hedge, and shrub care that includes using shears, pruners, or chainsaws.
• Occasional manual removal of snow and ice from walkways, drives.
• Keep work areas clear of clutter and debris.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
