About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper/Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of multiple local apartment communities. This role includes general cleaning, basic landscaping, trash removal, and minor maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or groundskeeping preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, laundry rooms, and exterior grounds
- Perform basic landscaping such as mowing, weeding, and blowing leaves
- Remove trash and debris from around the property and dumpster areas
- Assist with snow/ice removal in winter (if applicable)
- Report maintenance needs or safety hazards to property manager
- Support move-in/move-out cleaning and unit turnover tasks
