About The Position

AMLI Residential is looking for a Groundskeeper-Custodian to join our team at our luxury apartment community in Marina del Rey! Enjoy a stable, day-shift schedule (40 hours per week, no nights!) while helping us maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our property. What You’ll Do: Clean and maintain leasing office, restrooms, hallways, stairways, elevators, amenities, laundry rooms, parking garage, and other common areas. Perform daily trash removal and recycling. Assist with preparing vacant and model apartments for move-ins and tours. Wash interior/exterior windows, maintain light fixtures, and keep the community fresh and presentable. Care for, inventory, and properly use all janitorial supplies and equipment. Provide basic grounds care such as sweeping, picking up trash, and watering planters. Assist with move-out cleanings, moving bulky items, and property inspections. Support the team during emergencies (flood, fire, weather-related events) and occasional overtime needs.

Requirements

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment (mops, vacuums, carpet cleaners, scrubbers, etc.).
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally more).
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions.
