About The Position

This position is responsible for performing grounds work and custodial work as directed by the supervisor. This position works as a grounds person for six months (2 quarters) out of the year (during warm season), performing maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, spraying for weed control and snow removal. This position works as a custodian for six months (2 quarters) out of the year (during winter season), performing custodial tasks such as cleaning which includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, bathroom cleaning, and event setup and teardown and snow removals needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• 1 year experience in Grounds Maintenance
• 1 year experience in Custodial Maintenance
• Knowledge of use of equipment such as mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, and tools associated with grounds maintenance.
• Knowledge of use of cleaning equipment such as different types of mops, cleaning tools and chemicals, vacuum cleaners, etc.

Responsibilities
