There are four openings for the Grounds Worker position. One opening will start as soon as possible, the other three will begin on or after April 1, 2026. The Grounds Worker position performs basic grounds maintenance work using hand tools, walk-behind and riding motorized equipment. This is a temporary/seasonal position , working 40 hours per week for up to 1000 hours in the calendar year. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm, and the rate of pay will be $18.20/hour.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent.
A valid Michigan driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
Good mechanical aptitude/abilities.
A minimum of one year’s experience in grounds maintenance and the operation of mechanized equipment is required.
