About The Position

The position is primarily responsible for maintaining the appearance, health, safety, and effectiveness of grounds, waste management, and recycling programs on NYU owned, leased, and licensed properties. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of work experience in grounds maintenance
• New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Pesticide Technician License Class 3(a), for Ornamentals and Turf
• Certified Citizen Pruner from Trees New York

Nice To Haves

• A certificate or diploma from a horticultural institution and/or some college education
• NALP Certified Landscape Technician
• NOFA Certified in Organic Land Care
