About The Position

The primary purpose of the position is to help with the maintenance and beautiful of the grounds at Cherry Hospital. This includes operating of grounds equipment such as: lawn mowers, tractors, trucks, leaf machines, chain saws, edgers, hedge trimmers, high-lift truck, sprayers and string trimmers. Requirements

Education and/or experience in grounds work that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade and equivalent to two years of experience in planting, cultivation, and care of shrubs, trees, plants, and grasses; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of maintaining grounds and horticultural practices
Ability to do physical work on the grounds and ability to operate all types of grounds power equipment.
Basic knowledge of cultivation, pruning, spraying, and trimming requirements of shrubs and trees.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
