About The Position

Description Operations 60%-- Responsible for the supervision of the Grounds department including: Assigning daily staff work daily, interviewing, training and directing staff for the purpose of maintaining Canyon Ranch and associated properties, educating staff in completing assignments ensuring the highest productivity and efficiency, coordinating grounds work cooperating with other departments, acquiring equipment and providing necessary supplies for efficient and cost effective completion of assigned work, care and maintenance of all trails on property. Maintenance of storm water and drainage systems. Knowledge 40%-- Oversees the care of gardens, trees and turf management, as well as pruning removal and planting or new or replacement trees and contributes to on-going guest satisfaction by communicating horticultural knowledge. Partners closely with management. Actively demonstrates Canyon Ranch service standards and Ethos principles with staff and guests. Must have prior knowledge of position/industry 3-5 years previous experience in same or related field. Supervises 6 or more (full time equivalent) colleagues.

Requirements

Having a High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Drivers License and driving history
Ability to be alert, safety conscious, and pay exceptional attention to detail.
