About The Position

Banning Unified School District is a diverse community that collaborates to develop responsible, respectful, and prepared students to achieve their full potential. With over 500 employees and a $70M operational budget, the District serves nearly 4,500 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Banning, Cabazon, White Water, Poppet Flats, and the Morongo Indian Reservation. The district is one of the largest employers in the city of Banning, operating one preschool, four elementary schools, one middle school, one comprehensive high school, one continuation high school, and one independent study school. In February 2021, Banning Unified School District opened a first-of-its-kind Performing Arts Center at Banning High School, a 27,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility that includes seating for over 500 and built-in, high-tech equipment to enhance opportunities for students to engage in advanced Career Technical Education (CTE) programs using the latest technologies.

Requirements

• Driver's License Copy
• Proof of HS Graduation (or equivalent)
• Must pass the District written exam covering basic traffic safety, traffic laws and regulations, first aid, working with students, management and supervision, and interpersonal relationships.
• A current tuberculosis clearance
• Fingerprint clearance from the Dept. of Justice and the FBI
• Must pass District drug screening
• Must be insurable by the District's insurance carrier
• Must maintain all certifications as a condition of continued employment.
