About The Position

We are looking for a Grounds Manager to oversee the grounds/landscaping efforts and related outdoor maintenance services for our portfolio of properties here in Columbia, Missouri.

Requirements

3+ years of grounds and landscaping experience
Experience managing subcontractors, vendors and employees
Self Starter
Attentive to detail
Takes pride in the overall appearance of property
Works exceptionally well with a team and other management

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Technology or related field, preferred

Responsibilities

Helps to plan future site development landscaping/irrigation needs
Management of outdoor amenity spaces
Responsible for management of all turf; mowing/trimming/fertilizer/weed control/seeding/aeration
Responsible for landscaping; seasonal color plantings/trimming/pruning/tree and shrub replacement
Manages irrigation systems; start-up/repair/winterizing
Snow removal and ice management of commercial and residential areas
Budget and manage in-house and 3 rd party contractors for various grounds needs/projects
