About The Position

Under general supervision of the School Principal and direct supervision of the Lead Facilities Worker, performs routine and semi-skilled custodial and grounds maintenance. The custodian is responsible for keeping the assigned school building(s) and grounds in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly condition and performs other duties directly related to the job description.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in custodial and general grounds work is preferred.
• Must have a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
• Clear criminal history check as mandated by Education Code and the Department of Justice.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties to maintain cleanliness of school buildings.
• Conduct grounds maintenance to ensure the safety and orderliness of outdoor areas.
• Follow directives from the Lead Facilities Worker and School Principal.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
