About The Position

GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Floating Grounds/Maintenance Technician I in Fresno, CA, join a dynamic property management team! Must have 1 solid year of proven and current experience in apartment maintenance with a general understanding of plumbing, electrical and troubleshooting. Able to learn and be trained and able to complete all groundskeeping tasks every day at the property in Fresno

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance
Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work orders.
Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology.
Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Must be bilingual
Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Good communication skills
Computer literate (outlook/property management software)
Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff
Strong organizational skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
General grounds keeping skills
Ability to manage emergency situations

Responsibilities

Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
Report violations of lease and house rules
Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
Perform preventative maintenance duties
Maintaining excellent curb appeal
Follow policies and procedures
