About The Position

The Grounds Maintenance Equipment Operator will assist operations multiple functions as directed by the grounds maintenance supervisor. At Seaboard Foods, we create the most sought-after pork. Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or 1-3 months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos preferred. Ability to write simple correspondence preferred.
A valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual, Spanish and English preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment, such as: motor grader, dozer, backhoe, loader, skid loader, tractor, packer, truck and trailer.
Assist in grading and road maintenance for all farms.
Assist in lagoon repairs.
Assiss in pulling stuck trucks (feed/live animal haul) during storms.
Snow plowing during winter months.
Mowing and weed eating during summer months.
Plumbing repairs throughout operations.
