Grounds Maintenance (mowing) Foreman
About The Position
We’re looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Foreman to lead crews, keep projects running smoothly, and deliver high-quality outdoor spaces our clients love. Technical Competencies: Strong mechanical aptitude Physically capable of performing outdoor labor Solid knowledge of grounds maintenance industry techniques and best practices Operate vehicles responsibly, including proper load securement and safe trailer maneuvering (clean driving record required) Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management
Requirements
- Previous industry experience in grounds maintenance (minimum 1 year required)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Prior leadership or foreman experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on outdoor maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and clean-up
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Lead and supervise maintenance crews on daily job sites
- Plan, assign, and oversee daily work activities
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards
- Operate and oversee the safe use of equipment and tools, plus company vehicles and machinery.
- Communicate with management regarding schedules, materials, and progress
- Accurately complete and submit timesheets, plus submit receipts to office for purchases
